It’s the time of year to be crawling big soft plastic swimbaits across the bottom of your favorite bass waters!! This is the second year in a row that I’ve been doing it with the Bacca Burrito with great success! This is not a traditional bait for this presentation as the big boot tail really isn’t suited for cold water but you can’t argue with success!! This one choked it in 44 degree water on an offshore rock pile at Clear Lake! If you haven’t been to the Bass Factory since the water came back up, do yourself a favor and make a trip! A very healthy Clear Lake 6 pounder from my quick Tuesday afternoon trip.

Made my first fishing trip of the year this week. Just a quick two hour session at Clear Lake, but it was absolutely worth it! Caught around 15 fish with my best five going 23lbs. The 1/2oz Picasso Tungsten football jig and the Picasso Bait Ball Pulse with Smartmouth Plus jig heads and Keitechs were my two best producers! That six pounder sure felt good!! Sundays hunt was the last one of the regular season. It was considerably slower than Saturday even though the conditions seemed nearly perfect. It was more bird watching than bird shooting! 😂.
